About the Project
The North Carolina African American Cemeteries Network is dedicated to recognizing and preserving African American history and burial sites, highlighting their importance to both local and national heritage. Serving as a resource hub and professional network, we support individuals and organizations committed to safeguarding African American cemeteries across North Carolina.
