Social Impact of the Arts
This research explores the role of the arts and design in fostering socioeconomic mobility, community health, and revitalization in the Charlotte metropolitan area. It aims to understand how artists, educators, and academic programs can measure the social impact of their creative practices, build stronger arts communities, and use transdisciplinary approaches to prepare engaged citizens and professionals who leverage the arts for public good.
