Current Research
CHArt supports faculty and student research engaging local solutions and global discourses, methods, and practices focused on tangible and intangible heritages and the role of the arts in communities. These projects include multidisciplinary approaches to human experiences involving expressions of culture, history, identity, place, and memory. Through these diverse experiences and practices of engaging with the arts, the past, and with places we also aim to promote the stories, heritages, culture, and sites that foreground communities historically underrepresented in arts and heritage professions, practices, and conversations.
